Water and fiber are critical because it helps to move out toxins using the regular channels of elimination rather than using the skin as an exit point.&lt;br /&gt;A word of Caution: Sudden face or body eruptions can indicate a potentially serious medical condition. If your blemishes look large and like welts, this could be caused by a serious medical condition and you would need to see your doctor immediately.&lt;br /&gt;You can deal with you acne or skin problems by, also applying known nutritional and herbal remedies that give you better health and give your skin the nutrients it needs.&lt;br /&gt;The beauty of your skin is a reflection of the health of your organs and upon your psychological condition. The way the inside of your body looks like is reflected on your face, physical appearance and your thoughts.&lt;br /&gt;The amount of work you put into clearing your acne will determine how quickly you clear your face. By being consistent in following good health practices, you will be able to get rid of your acne.&lt;br /&gt;If your acne is heredity, it is not true that you cannot do anything about it. Knowing this, you can now arm yourself with some powerful nutritional and hygiene habits that will prevent acne from taking hold.&lt;br /&gt;Traditional Medical Acne Treatments&lt;br /&gt;I do not recommend using medications for acne, such as,&lt;br /&gt;* Benzoyl peroxide - opens pores to kill bacteria * Antibiotics - erythromycin, tetracycline - kill bacteria everywhere it goes in your body and skin. * Retin A - helps to break open plugged pores, prevents new plugged pores, and helps to prevent scarring. * Topical steroid, cortisone derivative, drug&lt;br /&gt;These drugs and many others have serious side effects that you will want to avoid. Through the skin toxins are eliminated which are brought to the skin surface from the blood. When the regular elimination channels are sluggish or partial plugged up such as your colon being constipated, not all toxins move out through your feces.&lt;br /&gt;Toxins that accumulate in the colon tend to move into the blood, when colon walls have been weaken through constant constipation or abused through eating excessive junk food. Once in the blood they move into the liver for detoxification.&lt;br /&gt;If you are frequently constipated, than your liver will be overworked and unable to detoxify all of the colon toxins. The liver will store a lot of these toxins in its own tissue and else where in your body's tissues, joints, organs, cells and skin. When your pores are not working properly, excessive toxins in the pores can lead to acne.&lt;br /&gt;When you have excessive toxins and your immune system is not able to detoxify them, these toxins will moved to the skin surface through the blood where they are enter the hair pores - follicles - and try to move to the skin surface. When your pores are not working properly, excessive toxins in the pores can lead to acne.&lt;br /&gt;Body odor is also a result of toxins coming out through the skin that should be moving out through the other elimination channels.&lt;br /&gt;If your body skin is clean and its pores are open and unclogged, toxins will move out through the pores without creating acne, pimples or eruptions. The skin normally moves 1-2 pounds of toxins out of your skin daily.&lt;br /&gt;You can tell when your pores are open. You sweat freely during exercise. If you do not sweat much during hot weather or during exercise, then your skin pores are probably plugged.&lt;br /&gt;To keep your skin active and serving as a good channel of elimination you need to brush your skin daily before you shower or during your shower. When you brush your skin, brush in one direction, starting from your feet towards your heart.&lt;br /&gt;In her book, Detox For Life, 2002, Loree Taylor Jordan, C.C.H., I.D. says,&lt;br /&gt;"One of greatest gifts of health that you can give yourself is the gift of skin brushing. Dry skin brushing in one of the finest of all baths. No soap can wash the skin as clean as the new skin you have under the old. You make new skin on the body every 24 hours. The skin will only be as clean as the bloodstream. Dry skin brushing removes the top layer. This helps to eliminate uric acid crystals catarrh, and various other acids in the body. But I think you should listen for a few minutes, and I promise you will gain great benefits from these exercises as long as you make them part of your training routine.&lt;br /&gt;Do the SQUATS&lt;br /&gt;Women who perform bodyweight or added weights utilizing full squats (full squats is where you lower your bottom well below the knee level.) can have healthier ankle, knee, and hip joints and an overall healthier body than women who don't do squats.&lt;br /&gt;Performing full or deep squats have been shown in one study* that I am aware of to recruit more muscle fibers for the thighs (front and back) and the gluteus maximus ( the butt muscle) than the knee parallel or quarter squats exercise.&lt;br /&gt;Another benefit from performing squats or similar compound exercise for that matter is increasing the testosterone hormone to grow more muscles, become leaner, and obtain more energy.&lt;br /&gt;Being completely honest with you, all compound exercises should be the core of your training. I chose the exercise squats because it is basic and fundamental to many other complex exercises. If you become good at it, most likely you will become good at other complex exercises like the Olympic lifts.&lt;br /&gt;Another reason I am mentioning squats is because most people in developed countries sit all day long whether working in the office, watching TV, or commuting. All these repetitive patterns create imbalance in the musculoskeletal system and things like squatting or bending knees can be limited and in many cases painful.&lt;br /&gt;So practicing squats and bending your knees will make you as a woman first and equally as a Mom more mobile for dealing with your children like lifting them up the right way and with relative ease (the way is supposed to be). It will also make your life less challenging and give you more pleasure.&lt;br /&gt;One more note about squatting and knee or back injuries, Let me tell you a short story. I was born and raised in Kuwait in the Gulf Region in the Middle East. In Kuwait we have foreign labor and many are from India, the Philippine Islands, Sri Lanka, and other third world countries.&lt;br /&gt;These workers including my family's cook and maids are perfectly fine squatting with their back upright for more than an hour or two while carrying on a conversation.&lt;br /&gt;Humans' joints are designed to squat and do other movements that are not found here in U.S. and other developed countries which for many of us are very difficult to perform.&lt;br /&gt;Wrap up&lt;br /&gt;So the take home message is this; Women as Moms, career women, etc. no one is immune from becoming dysfunctional if you are living in this modern time with all the convenient tech that are provided to us. Beyond the physiological addictive qualities, sweets are highly associated with comfort and pleasure.&lt;br /&gt;For most of us, the problems start in childhood, when we are rewarded with sweets for good behavior, setting up a lifetime association between sugary treats, reward and soothing.&lt;br /&gt;Underlying feelings often drive food cravings as well. My clients will often say "it's easier to stuff my feelings with food than to feel them."&lt;br /&gt;============= Take The Quiz! =============&lt;br /&gt;1. Do you feel that you just don't want to stop indulging in a particular substance - caffeine, sugar, alcohol, excessive carbs - right now, although you could at any time?&lt;br /&gt;2. Have you ever tried to stop for a week but were unable to do so?&lt;br /&gt;3. Do you resent the advice of others who express concerns about your health?&lt;br /&gt;4. Have you ever tried to control your behavior by switching to a different substance?&lt;br /&gt;5. Do you envy people who can indulge without a problem?&lt;br /&gt;6. Do you isolate yourself (eat alone) when you are over-indulging?&lt;br /&gt;7. When the food is limited or unavailable, do you feel deprived and/or go out of your way to get some anyway?&lt;br /&gt;8. Do you plan your life around your food?&lt;br /&gt;11. Do you often consume more of it than you intended to?&lt;br /&gt;12. Do you consume as much as you can and feel reluctant to throw leftovers away?&lt;br /&gt;13. Do you reach for this food when you are disappointed, depressed, lonely, bored or going through a difficult time?&lt;br /&gt;14. Does it affect your sleep?&lt;br /&gt;15. Are you afraid if you stop using it that you will lack confidence, the ability to relax or that you won't know how to handle situations?&lt;br /&gt;16. Do you hide the evidence or lie to others to cover up?&lt;br /&gt;17. Do you feel your life would be more productive if you weren't indulging in this substance?&lt;br /&gt;18. Do you lack self-control when deciding whether or not to consume this food?&lt;br /&gt;19. Is this habit affecting your health?&lt;br /&gt;20. Do you feel you aren't living up to your potential because of it?&lt;br /&gt;Food addiction is entirely solvable! You can live peacefully with the food you love.
